In 1958, Lowell, Birthell, Paul and Stella McAdams established Valley Head Saddlery. The original location in Valley Head Alabama is pictured above. The company grew from a saddle and tack repair shop to a full-time saddle and tack manufacturing business.

When the senior McAdams' retired, Paul and Stella assumed the reins of the business. Valley Head Saddlery continued to grow and in 1980, moved to a newer, larger manufacturing facility in Ider, Alabama to accomodate the continued growth of the company. Our operations are still located in Ider, where it was located over 25 years ago.

With the help of their family, the McAdams' continue to manufacture quality riding equipment at affordable prices.

The registered logos of Circle M™ and V.H. Saddlery Pro Series™ are stamped on each of our saddles, ensuring authentic Valley Head Saddlery equipment that is proudly and professionally made in the U.S.A.
